Environmental Assessment
The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) have released for public comment the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the H Street Bridge NE Replacement. The EA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and evaluates the proposed replacement and documents alternatives considered, their potential impacts and strategies to mitigate them.
A printed copy of the document is also available for public inspection, which due to the current restrictions resulting from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, will be by appointment only at the DDOT office below.
